Mr. Charles directs the investment strategy of CLC. His investment approach involves investing in businesses globally on a concentrated basis, based on fundamental and other analysis.
Mr. Charles was previously Co-Head of Corporate Finance, Southeast Asia at Credit Suisse, leading landmark business purchases, divestments and security issuances across countries and industries. He also worked in Global Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank and practiced mergers and acquisitions law at Freehills (now Herbert Smith Freehills). He previously taught classes and undertook research in finance and economics at the University of Melbourne in Australia.
Mr. Charles is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a qualified barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia. He holds a double degree in Commerce (Honours in Finance) and Law from the University of Melbourne.

Ms. Lim was previously a fund manager at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), investing in global securities and focused on concentrated strategic investments. She also worked in investment banking at UBS and practiced corporate law at Allens Arthur Robinson (now Allens Linklaters), advising on business purchases, divestments and security issuances across the region. She previously taught classes in accounting at the University of Melbourne in Australia.
Ms. Lim holds a double degree in Commerce and Law (Honours) from the University of Melbourne. She is a former ASEAN Scholar and a qualified barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia.
